Our Invitation
The Boy Troop 570 and the Girl Troop 570 of Kirkland are hosting a one-day event at Fire Mountain
Scout Camp on November 9th, with an optional overnight campout. All Arrow of Light Scouts (5th graders) are invited to come along with a parent and join us to experience more about being a Scout! We will also have use of the Fort Boeing in case of inclement weather.
We have many fun activities planned for the weekend. Scouts from both troops will teach the AOLs skills like:
- Fire building
- Knife & axe safety
- Knots & lashings
- First aid
- and more
Meals
For lunch, Webelos will be able to cook with our 570 and 8570 patrols, adults will be provided lunch by the troop. If you register for a longer visit, then we will cook Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast! We will have hot tea and coffee available at all times for the adults. Please tell us about any allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
Everyone should have extra food for themselves in case of emergency (extra food is one of the 10
essentials).
