Scouting BSA Troop 570 invites you to come join our Troop. As a member of our Troop you will enjoy new experiences, make new friends and have fun. You will also learn new skills while advancing in rank.
Visit Us
We encourage you to schedule a date to visit our troop. Scheduling a visit ensures we can be prepared to answer all your questions and fully engage your scout into the troop’s evening activities.
Meetings
We meet at 7 PM on Monday evenings at the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Kirkland (map). Troop meetings are usually the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Mondays of each month with a scout led leadership meeting on the 4th Monday.
We have a monthly parent meeting on the second Monday of every month.
Outdoor Program
We go on many great outings every year! Day hikes and day outings, simple car camping at established camp sites, backpacking trips for beginners and trips for more advanced challenges, high-adventure week-long outings to challenge those who are ready to take them on, and opportunities to give back to our community by way of service projects every year.
Who Can Join
A scout must meet Scouting BSA’s age requirement: A scout must be 11 years old, or one who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but is not yet 18 years old.
Scouts can join Troop 570 any time during the year.
No previous scouting experience is required.
Troop 570 welcomes Scouts of all religious beliefs.
Troop 570 has a separate all-girls troop that features the same fun, adventure, leadership, awards and advancement.
Scout Run
Troop 570 prides itself in being a “scout run troop.” Our outings and weekly meetings are planned and conducted by the scouts (with proper adult oversight).
